Answer: Pretty thick, have a beagle. Not a true comparison. I wouldn’t think they would penetrate.

Question: I would like to put this on the edge of my pond, to get in and out of floats and kayak, would this work?
Answer: I think if you could stabilize to keep it in one place it would work. It is a very firm surface when pumped up. It needs some anchor posts to hold it from moving.
